Hmmmmm, ok well here goes nothing. This is my very first post. Am a bit nervous because I am so not a writer or even like writing but always wished I was good at it (don't look too close either because my grammar is quite atrocious). I have one huge dream and it is to be creative and be a Mommy while running, swimming and biking (and not going back to a 9 to 5 job commuting to DC). I keep thinking something has got to workout, I have got to figure out how to make a living off of my passion and what makes me happy in life.
So this blog will be all about being creative whether in a crafty way, a fine arts way or even with cake. I will post when I can but am not making any promises because time is limited. I have two very energetic lively boys ages 4 and 6 (need I say more). My post will be about my everyday life and the need to be creative all while running on a treadmill (or dreadmill as we call it)!
So I have many ideas to post. This is a great opportunity to finish my mosaic tile back splash and show you how easy it is to do (I am embarrassed to say that it has been well almost done since my first son was born). I also have the rocking chair I was rocket in as a child which needless to say leaves a lot to be desired. There are the jewelry hanging frames, the crochet rose pins and many other things to post.
So I am excited about this and I hope that I can make my passion in life my full time job (well besides the full time Mommy thing, which I almost quit when a piece of my art got destroyed with a hammer by two cute faces, I am just kidding but boy was I mad). So check in from time to time to see what is going on in my crazy life.
